Round Robin

I was inspired by Kim's take on our Round Robin journal swap:
A portion of Kim's journal cover

So when Kim's journal came around to me, I decided to
stay with the theme and do my version of a Round Robin.

This bird will be an international traveler!
He is rather round, and I hope they don't charge him extra for two seats.
If so, he may just decide to make the journey with his own two wings.
Awfully difficult lugging the suitcase though. He may have over-packed.

If he's glimpsed on the other side of the Atlantic,
he may not be recognized, since this is what a robin looks like over there:
But that's okay, maybe he'll become a celebrity,
being so different and all. Celebrities are all the rage right now,
and one hardly has to do anything to become one.
Surely he is as remarkable as some of those people who are
famous for nothing more than having TV cameras follow them around.
Perhaps he'll be discovered by some paparazzi.
At any rate, he's looking forward to the journey.

So true, isn't it?

I've decided to link this to Paint Party Friday
since it is Friday and I haven't played in a while.
I'm going to try to visit as many blogs as I can,
and I apologize if I don't get around to everyone.
I'm heading out on my own journey, albeit in the opposite
direction to the round robin. My internet access may be spotty,
although I hope to be able to check in from time to time!

Have a lovely weekend!

  19. Your robin is adorable!! And having him with suitcase and destination tags is a fabulous idea! I love the colours and quotes and the way all your writing backgrounds and images flow together so beautifully. This is such a creative spread full of imagination & cheer. Love it! And I'm sure Kim will be ecstatic :-))

I now have your deliciously painted journal. The vibrant colours and gorgeous images are wonderful. I hope I can think of creating pages that will be worthy of such a beautiful journal! I've not long ago let Lisa's (priti) journal go on to its next destination & I have to admit it was hard to let go of something so lovely. I feel your journal will be the same.

    Hope you enjoy your travels.
    Hugs
    Kat Xx
