Inspiration Avenue Weekly Challenge

Faded
Faded...the Inspiration Avenue prompt for this week.
From the imagination of the talented Angie,
otherwise known as Artangel!

The greatest poem ever known
Is one all poets have outgrown:
The poetry, innate, untold,
Of being only four years old.
                                     ~Christopher Morley, To a Child

Sweet childish days, that were as long
As twenty days are now.
                               ~William Wordsworth, To a Butterfly

The garden gate photo is available
to download on my other blog
if anyone would like to play with it
or store it for future use!

Visit Inspiration Avenue to see the entries
in this week's challenge.
They will all be displayed on Sunday afternoon.

We're having a spate of warm windy weather,
more like March than February.
It's all coming to an end this weekend,
so I'm off to enjoy some of it now!
Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Your pic takes me back to my grandma's house. My memory is faded of it because I was so little but this reminds me of her garden gate. Love what you have done with it. Very Nice!!!

  8. I love the way you've altered the photo and added the poetry.

And the original image is great. I love images of doorways, gates, entrances etc. because they always seem to invite you in and make me want to know what lies beyond.
